There are about 20,000 licensed porters in the country.Coolies often receive meager wages for their labor, which may not be sufficient to support themselves or their families adequately. Many coolies are employed on a casual or temporary basis, leading to uncertainty about their employment status and future income. Coolies often lack access to basic benefits such as healthcare, insurance, or retirement plans, leaving them vulnerable in times of illness or old age.

The form of the logo is inspired from the license plate that is worn by coolies to show that they are the registered ones, so the idea here is that we ensure the users that the coolie who will be assisting the user with their luggage is a registered one so the user isn’t worried about theft.
The typography here is shown using R as the rupee symbol that is used in India.

When you hear about railway station, do you think about a COOLIEWALA ? A man who carries the luggage of the passengers to train compartment and takes down it from the compartment is called coolie. But the problem here is how often do you see him at the railway station? Is there any particular place in the railway station where you can find them? The answer to this is a ‘No’, lets see why.

But now the question arises how and what problems are being solved by this app ?
Problem1
Many people who are travelling via railways face this issue of food and medicine as they usually don’t prefer to buy food there. Also the problem faced with online food delivery apps for railway station is that they do not have much options to select their meal due to restricted number of hotels near to that station. For small stations there are no food delivery options shown.
Solution
Coolies after their retirement struggle in search of work, but they do have an idea of what all good restaurant options and medical shops they have nearby to that particular station. In a way they can take up that job of delivering food to the user in that station. The app offers facilities like food, medicine services.
Problem2
People who book their tatkal train tickets through IRCTC face issues like technical glitches and the website doesn’t have a user friendly interface. But this can pose a huge problem to people who have to book tickets in case of emergency.
Solution
Along with food and medicine our app also offers the service of booking tatkal tickets for users who are facing issues with the main website. Here the user can book a coolie and ask him/her to stand in the queue and book a ticket for the user.
Problem3
People who are new to a particular station find it difficult to reach to the exit of the station or to know which platform is located where. For those who are new to travelling do not know which coach is going to come at what platform .
Solution
To solve this problem we have a chatbot feature in our app where in the users can ask questions to the coolies regarding the station or platform and whoever is available in that particular station can guide the user about the location.
