Meaning of the Logo
The ideation used behind the logo was that, the logo should depict my personality. So the letter ‘P’ was taken for the logo as the initial of the name Preya. The form of the logo has been inspired from the ocean waves in order to depict the fun element that I try to bring in my design and also the calm nature of the ocean depicts the way in which I try to think and bring out solutions for various problems. The inner part of the logo has got the waves of the ocean but the alphabet ‘p’ isn’t fully formed in order to show that the ocean inside me still needs to come out in the real world and explore different things in order to learn.

I am Preya Avadhani
I am currently a 4th year Industrial Design Student studying at VIT Vellore, Tamil Nadu. I am an aspiring Product Design Student and with a keen interest in UI/UX Design.
I am a hardworking individual with a strong work ethic, dedicated to achieving goals and surpassing expectations. I have a strong belief in problem solving and am a eager learner with a passion for acquiring new knowledge and skills.
Often this question is asked to me why did you choose this field of design? Isn’t it very different from the other fields, so how did you feel like this is your field?
So here is my answer: I had a strong interest in creating making 3d models using simple materials and I always was very curious to know how different products function. What is the mechanism used behind it?
As I started knowing more about products, I came to gradually know about the field of Design and the day I came to know what this field is about I felt like I know where to go ahead...
I strongly believe in problem solving, putting myself into the shoes of the user in order to understand what exactly the user is going through and providing solutions that might actually help the user to solve it.
I also believe that every product that is made should have a reason or a hidden purpose behind it. Without any meaning to it I feel the product is of no use, if can’t serve the user in any way. For me designing is a way of problem solving using aesthetics.
